My leadership and technology expertise ranges from bootstrapping a startup company, managing software and firmware development teams, crafting both real-time embedded Linux and smaller embedded systems that communicate using a variety of physical mediums and protocols, and architecting distributed hardware and software platforms. I have directly managed five engineers and led complex projects with up to sixteen engineers. Communication, knowledge sharing and continuous learning are core to how I keep teams cohesive and operating effectively.

Additionally, I recognize the value of working closely with technical support, product management, and manufacturing to help deliver the best product possible. Using my excellent problem solving and communication skills I have helped clients solve complex issues in high pressure situations and have established and expanded key business relationships. I was the principle software and embedded engineering resource for the numerous consulting projects that Alektrona (a clean-tech company that I co-founded) engaged in.
